I could be wrong but I think I remember reading that the Patton Museum at Ft. Knox had a runner.

The Panther in the Koblenz (Germany) museum was built after the war for British evaluation purposes. During the restoration it got the Zimmerit coat and the IR equipment FG 1250 which are both reproductions. The tank is in running condition.

Does the French Museum at Samur still have an A model running?
For a while there they did the carosel of runners in the summer and the Panther from the Verlinden book was in it.

There is one at Münster thats supposed to be in running condition - infact, all of the tanks and softskins at Münster should be in running condition exept the King Tiger due to the lack of a original gearbox.

I have a movie (12 mb) from Koblenz showing there Panther - i´ll see if i can find the url for the movie.

Btw. heres a nice site with WW2 footage: Panzerlexicon.de

Yes they do, I went to the show where they run the vechicles when I was stationed in Germany in the Army back in 1997 (13 hour ride from Baumholder..in a Honda Civic filled up with plastic contaners of fuel lol)

IIRC the Panther at the museum in Overloon, the Netherlands, is being restored back to running condition...

The only Panther D still in existence will never run anymore, as it is now a monument in Breda...
