Here is an after shot of the repainted turret, sprayed on with a softer edge to the camo, you can see the spots where I hand brushed previously but you have to look close. Still some details to tack on before it goes for its coat of future and weathering. Thanks for the input guys.

Howdy all! I ran out of air (stupid cans) and had to paint the turret by hand. It doesn't look nearly as good as the sprayed, especially having the 2 styles on 1 tank. Live and learn I guess. Can i go back and spray the same color over the handpainted parts of the turret or will that just cause a bigger mess? I still have to tack on the tools, put on the road wheels etc and do a wash/drybrushing and weathering. Any feedback/critics would be welcome. More pics at the gallery.

Bison-
Yes - you could go back and spray the turret if you wanted to. That would certainly not cause any harm.
In fact - I spray my base camo colors in the usual manner... then go back and outline them by spraying a really thin brown along the edges to blend the colors.

having some rough cutted hand lines and some softer from tha airbrush is a lil difference so some thin layer airbrushed over wont harm i think also , will help the blending

You certainly can overspray. If you used a non-mixed color you should have no problems. Expect to widen your green areas by 5mm or so. You want to hide the hard edge as much as possible. To do this you'll spray as dark and even as you hand panted at the edge of the hard line then tapper out to a new soft line.
It does look a bit awkward with the hard and soft lines.
I'd also soften the line on the green section on the front of your Panther. It looks a bit hard.

Thanks for the tips guys! And good eye Slodder, I had to touch up the front with the brush and that's why it is such a hard edge. I'll get on it as soon as i get a fresh can of air.

Hi Bison Dude,
How's going? Good to see ya back!
The paint over all looked nice, as the guys said yes, you can certainly overspray, and with weathering and maybe buff afterwards, it will be not too noticable.
May I offer one suggestion, the camo on the gun barrel. it seems that you had sprayed some underneath the barrel itself, I think a little over the top would be nice too.
Can't wait to see this this baby get finished.

Almost done my OOB big cat! Resprayed the turret with field green to cover horrible hand painted camo then gave the whole thing a coat of future. Decals and dark grey almost black wash, and a little bit of drybrushing. Anything stick out before I give it a dullcoat? I guess it is going to be a stand alone so I am going to leave it clean for now. Thanks for the feedback.
