Recently I put py hands on the new Takom model of G6. Very interesting construction so it landed immediately on my workbench. When I've opened the box, I've noticed thow things. Huge tires - comparing to ruler, HEMMT and SMERCH):
-
-
And hull split used rather in planes not in vehicles for left and right halves.
The whole kit is simple, few sprues (only one i doubled - D), small transparent parts sprue, tiny PE fret and even smalled decals sheet:
Instruction is quite good, printed on good quality paper:
But honestly I do not like drawings like those renders. I'm not sure it they will be readable with all those shades of grey:
I started from the support legs, they are movable so you yan do vehicle in shooting position:

I glued drivers cab
And painted
-
I glued it in place but one of the halves is bend so I am glueing them in a few steps, just a little bit at the time
Suspension is similar to tanks and on one side is moved to front on the other to the rear
Suspension legs unfolded:
Front suspension
Two version of wheels rim, with or without hub:

It's turret time:
Basket with some PE parts, shame that PE is not provided for the floor:
Barrel - short version (45cals), quite simple but good:
Turret almost ready:
Dry fit:
Trying to fit to base:
I was planing some TWall or Jerseys:

I'm still not sure about the base. I would like to use some road panels from EurekaXXl and put some T-Walls:
-
As the vehicle is extremally high, then most likely I will use the highest walls:
-
In the meantime I've started to preshade vehicle a little bit:

Looks great, so far. I've got one myself, going to use it for the arty campaign. A suggestion for the base, only make the walls as high as the top of the hull. this will allow the turret to turn to all bearings for firing.

This one is in my wish list... since the previous images. I really like arty subjetcs, and the Rhino is very cool (I say one time he's remenber something from Command&Conquer game series).
The construction looks be whitout issues, good to know.
And an opinion.... Don't put walls too close to the sides, they will hide those huge, beauteful detailed tires.
Keep the good work, following.
D'bas.

Przemek, where did you get the tall T wall with the angled bottom and offset sides for overlap of adjoining panels? I would like to know where I could get one of that style T wall.
Regards,
Eric

I am painting with Tamiya acrylics, so most likely I will go for a XF-59 Desert Yellow mixed with Buff and maybe deck Tan.What colours are you going to use on the vehicle as I would like to know the alternative to mig ammo ones please.
In the meantime I sprayed some white on vehicle
And started a road
