Awesome looking piece. What an excellent way to get used the ancient Esci model, and the whole setting look great.

Hi Donny,
really liking this piece, the corrosion on the turret really stands out. Problem is your figure isn't appropriate for Operation Desert Storm , I'd say the easiest fix is to come up with a new name plate.

Nice vignette. The little details like the empty coke bottle add to the realism.

Yup, I noticed that too. The figure is wearing an IBA vest, 3-color DCUs, knee pads, Camelback, M40 mask carrier and carrying an M4. All these place him in a more modern setting; Iraq during the invasion, OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom) starting in March '03 most appropriately.

Thanks all for pointing out the mistake, yeah an easy fix will be to change the name plate....

OR..... replace the figure with a correct one and save the well painted figure for your next project. After all, you did pay for that nice tittle plate. I can see a disaster happening trying to peel off the old plate. In the USA we call it "Murphy's Law".
Anyway... damn nice vignette ! Thanks for sharing and have a Happy New Year !
