This is my BTR-152K from Skif, so far I glued the body together and made the weld seams with a soldering iron, they look kind of wide, but it's my first time. I can't do much right now because I've ordered the AEF Designs detailing kit, to finish off the interior
I did a lot of work on the front bumper-4 rivets on each side, and foil reinforcements on top and bottom
I will add much more details to the interior and the body(radio, fuse box, seats, steering boxes, steering mechanism!, exhaust, more detail for the front bumper)

How is this kit? From the photos it looks like a well detailed model. And it is a Truck... Got to be good #:-)

Thanx for the advice, I typed the wrong adress in the [/img]

The Skif kit is surprisingly good in my opinion, the body fits good, the suspension is detailed, however the engine has poor fit, and there is no exhaust system what so ever(I've asked if anybody has any reference, but I guess it's hard to get any photos of the subject) There are a couple things wrong with the kit, I will explain them more in my upcoming review.
As for the vehicle itself, it came out in 1959 and was constructed from parts of ZIS-157 with the engine of ZIS-131.
Also the first vehicle in the world with Central Tire Inflation System

Nice to see you post this kit subject Paul. I'm working on a BTR too - I have the three different Skif kits but no instructions for the -K. Don't really need them, but it would be nice to have.
I like the basic kit so far - not too bad and lots of room to add more details. Dave (animal) the BTR kit is right up your alley! I think it will make a nice looking armored truck when done.
