Is that how you make stretched sprue, Peter?

First steps with resin:

Surprisingly smooth cleaning and construction, except for the hassle with CA.
Did one mistake though, but fortunately not crucial.

Thanks Peter,
Saturday's progress:

Had some minor difficulties joining the body to the frame-not kit's fault but mine.CA accelerator solved the issue.

Quite a bit done for one day. Usually it takes that long just to clean up parts.
Very impressive etch work there as well Angel.

The trailer is very Ben Hur-ish chariot shaped. With the light behind it, you can see how thin the resin is. Very impressive kit. Thanks Angel

Yeah, having built in already 248 parts(PE included) I can only say this kit is worth every penny.
Lost some tiny bits, but managed to build them from styrene:

Next I'll start the construction of the wheels-another 220 parts(PE included) fun!
I now like resin so much, that I have 2 more kits from PlusModel on my wish(Santa Claus)list-Steyr 640 and Tempo G1200.
So thanks for setting up this Campaign and for all the support!

Peacefull morning modelling(while "pets" still sleep):

I needed approx. 4,5 hours to finish my first wheel-62 pieces in total(30 rods,22 resin parts and 10 PE).
A kit of it's own.

Gotta question either your sanity for building it or mine for loving it!

Olivier,Jesper,Alex,Clayton-thanks for your comments!
Wheels look complicated, but are not difficult to build-once you finish the first one
A wheel assembly jig comes with the kit.
I've switched over to conveyer building the wheels:

Clayton,Peter,Jesper,John-thanks for your kind words!
As advised by a friend of mine-I gave the Pavesi a thorough liquid soap bath, rinsed it and let it dry for almost 24 hours.
Side effects
-I lost the towing hook to the sewage pipe

,will adapt one from my spares...
-the wheel rods developed natural rust
I primed the tractor with Mr.Surfacer 1500 Black,diluted 1:1 with Mr.Color Thinner.
Now I have a black Ugly Duckling:
