Resin hull all glued:-
I had to add a stiffner across where the Glacis plate joins to keep the top straight.

Update on my Stug IV.
Made schutzen rails and all the missing tank tools out of styrene.
I also fitted the SHQ figures into the hatches.
The schutzen brackets, spare road wheels, and better detailed hatches came from the Revell rebox of the Matchbox Stug IV.
Nearly ready for the painting phase. Having a blast on this project. Happy modeling everyone. Bill

Shaping up well Richard. It would not be a resin kit without some bracing having to be added. See back to one of my posts for the resin brace in my Striker
Angel, just gets better and better. Nice work on the tarps.
Bill, excellent scratch build work there. At least the Matchbox JP IV parts went to a good home...
Okay I have completed 2 other builds, so back to this one...

The windscreen , I have broken the original resin part so I rebuilt it with styrene and resin bolts.
I add all bolts missing around doors.
Don't forget to add towing hook, it is not depicted in instructions. Part is from Hobbyboss kit (C11).
I have made the junction between the windscreen and engine hood. I have used putty and styrene to make the tarp.

Update on my Stug IV.
Making some shutzen shields using styrene sheet and fine wire.
Once done, I should be ready to paint this little Beastie!
Good luck to everyone on their projects.

A little more progress on my resin Triaros APC. It is a Big Chuck of resin With a lot of nooks. Time consuming to paint, but it is beginning to look nice.

It certainly is Jesper.
The fun starts now Richard - resin tracks. Hope everything goes well for you.
The schurtzen look very nice Bill. Could have saved the time and not removed the resin from around the wheels
Angel you are making me wait!!! You are not an really...

Thanks for the comment, William.
Nice job on the camouflage on your StuG IV - especially considering the scale.

Peter,
My GF keeps telling me I am not...
Now, when there are two people telling me the same thing-and they don't know each other...-they might be right, right?
;)

Update on my Stug IV.
The kit had no decals, so I dove into my spares and found some appropriate items. Micro Set and Micro Sol snugged them into the zimmerit nicely.
Decal work is done. Now the weathering phase can start. Yea!
Started painting the SHQ figures. These guys will add a lot of character to the Stug.
Thanks for viewing. Happy modeling everyone! Bill
