Hello everyone.
I had some time to myself tonight, so I just about finished off the Jagdtiger that had been sitting in the paint area for about a month. It still needs some pastels on the treads to take off the worst of the monochrome. Oh, and with a flash and artificial light, the whole tiger looks too bright. It looks much better in person. Really.
Anyway, it's DML's Jagdtiger in 1/35, with a Jordi barrel, Friul tracks (my first) and some medical gauze rolled and draped. The kit was totally trouble free. Oh, the tank looks like it's floating above the tracks in one picture .. I was too lazy to re-photo it to get it to sit evenly on the treads (they're not glued to the wheels).
Constructive criticism is always appreciated.
Mika

Wow, that Jagdtiger can sure side-hill! :-)
Seriously, it may be the photo, but the tracks look a bit shiny to me.
Otherwise it is a great looking job you've done!

Thanks for the comments all.
The tracks are really dead flat - I think the flash made them appear shiny.
Unfortunately, my digital camera is getting on in years, and can't really macro all that well. Maybe I'll try the 35mm and digitize the pix.
