I strongly hope they won't include interior parts and lower the price.

I wonder if the rear track hangers on the March '45 turret are arranged to only accept non-mirrored links. That is the proper arrangement as shown in Jentz/Doyle's "Germany's Tiger Tanks: VK45.02 to Tiger II". If not, it's not worth consideration. Before anyone says, "Well, you can fix it yourself", you would be correct. Although, for what kits are going or these days, I'd expect it to be correct out of the box.

On Ammo of Mig homepage you can find much more infos.. it's not only the changes written in the news here. The "Project" version for example also has the 10,5cm L/68 gun.

That's funny, as in my stash for 2017 is a Dragon King Tger, a resin May 1945 update set, and the Zitader 10.5 long gun for it! I will buy this one and have two!

July 45 turret roof is wrong, no room for rangefinder, they say...

You're right. They must've taken turret height measurements from the drawings on pages 150-151 found in "VK45.02 to Tiger II". The notation at the top of p. 150 states the roof was raised to accommodate the internal rangefinder. But, Mr. Doyle didn't draw the turret with the additional height. It's identical to the March '45 and earlier turrets in that respect.

Interesting times, and so many options, some of which are "what ifs"...will it also come with an interior? I like the idea of the 2 in 1 but only if it reflects facts and not simply gamer speculation. The March '45 interests me the most, though some of the July '45 were already underway and being issued (MG42 vs 34, etc) Either way, I think that I'm currently AWASH with KT kits, so maybe someday...

This is actually pretty interesting to me. Apparently they'll be shipping out in march. It's cool for sure, if you're into those late-war things that verge on paper panzers (yes I know the March and July '45 versions are real though).

The original price is 63.50 euro? What are they thinking. Even the reduced price 49.95 Euro is still expensive considering that the kit is exterior only.

What kind of price would you expect? 63.50 is only $18 USD more then the original kit. It is a limited edition kit which invariably means that they are probably moulding far less of the new parts which will increase the cost. And limited edition also means that it will generally attract only a specialty crowd that will accept the fact that they will pay more for something like this of a limited nature. And while the price is more then the base Takom kit, it is no more then many other kits from Trumpeter, Dragon, AFV Club, etc.
Doesn't sound unreasonable to me, and if you pre-order it's virtually the same price as the original kit (with no interior included of course).

I think its an interesting kit but considering is bascially a Tankom King Tiger without the interior it should not be identically priced to the Tankom kit.
I am not really interested in the July 1945 model as it was never actually built
