Can anyone recommend a set of replacement wheels for the T-55? I understand that the Tamiya ones are wrong, IIRC they have grooves instead of ribs on the sidewall, and to me the new ribs on the Takom
kits look huge. Has anyone used a set of aftermarket wheels that they thought were good? To me the Miniarm wheels look nice, those sidewalls seem more subtle in the photos I've seen, anyone used them?

I used stretched sprue to fill the grooves and make the ribs. Takes some time but it's a cheap easy fix. If your set on getting replacements try Miniarm available at Scale Hobbyist I believe.

Thanks for the help guys, I was wondering if anyone had actually used the Miniarm wheels, and had an opinion about their quality, and how they might compare to the Takom wheels. I have seen the excellent jobs correcting the sidewalls, but if there is a decent replacement, I would rather spend the money on those, and spend the time on other details, but that's just my point of view, not taking away from the great work you guys have done!
