Hey guys,
I haven't been around in a while but at the moment I am in Reading Week.
This has given me some time to get some work done on my Hetzer.
Here are the latest photos...
I still have a great deal of work to do and my holiday is nearly over
Looks like another 'year-long' project.
The remainder of the pictures can be found here.
All comments welcome,
Andrew

Lord Cash Crop (and PE god Emeritus :-) :-) )
Wow!!!!!! Your skills have not diminished a bit in your time away. The detail, both interior and exterior, is just outstanding. The pe is precisely placed, and the interior painting/detail work is impressive. The coloring/wear on the drive shaft is especially realistic looking. To be frank Andrew, I'd love to see an article describing the paint techinques used on this interior----the seats, the stored rounds, interior wear, etc. Just outstanding work. You are one of the best around (even though you're kind of hard to get along with )
Just kidding Andrew. Please keep us posted and (I know you're busy at school), but consider an article describing the interior paint techniques. Thanks pal, and good to see you back.

Nick,
Great to see you back at this baby again. Everything looked great. I especially like the interior shots with the shells. Most expertile. The loops on the hetzer are very well made and uniform, how do you achieve this? fashioned any kind of jig? I am mostly interested in the loops between the skirt bracket doohickeies, what are those for?
Nick, both Daisy and I are most impressed. Great work, pal. In fact we will throw a party for you, so do drop by next door when you are done.
Signed

Andrew,
Hey, long time no see...!
Great to see you build another piece of master class kit. I love it both the interior and exterior details. The paint job is fabulous. Please post more pics in progress.

Wow, Andrew, that is outstanding work. I agree with Steve, I’d love to read a description of how you did the interior. That has to be the most impressive work I’ve seen. Your PE work is stunning, but that interior – Wow!

Stop it!!!!!!! Oberst-y!!!!! Your given me a chubby with all that wonderful brass!!!!!!! It has an interior and my love!!!! Will it marry me (I seem to have a vacancy now). All seriousness aside, has it gotten a order of protection against me yet? I would like to stalk....err....meet it for friendship and possibly more.
Yup.......looking into commital to the local Loony bin as we speak.

Wow Jon, I am flattered
But seriously, the Hetzer is already committed.
Thanks for all of the nice comments guys, they are encouraging as I feel 'rusty'.
The paint techniques are simple but at the same time, follow no real technique - It is all experimentation.
WWH - You are no picnic yourself
Dave - the 'expertile' loops were simple to create, I just spent a long time on them ( This kit has been in-progress since the summer )
Paul - the rounds are the aweful Verlinden ones that came with the interior (resin) plus 4 CMK ones. I tried to get some white metal ones but the order never arrived.
Thanks again guys,
Andrew
