I did some super detailing, on this one. It's time to paint and I have no clue as to what color the interior should be(seat belts, fir extinguisher etc.).

While trying to help I actually found one of your own posts.

Hi Matt,
There's a restored one for sale on MilWeb with pics:
http://www.milweb.net/webvert/a1843
While it is a restoration and thus worth checking for accuracy, it shows what I remember on the subject. The interior of the turret/fighting compartment are OD, and in the driving compartment are white. The "pleather" seat covers are black, but the seat belts were webbing (OD or similar, subject to all the variation of US webbing colours! There's TONS of web discussion on webbing...), and the f/e were red with black nozzles. Wiring might be black, many fittings (radio, dashboard, periscopes, etc) were OD, and of course the underside of the hatches were OD.
Can't be more specific, especially as all those lovely Tech Manual pics are in b/w! But I hope this helps a bit...

inside turret is olive drab..lower chassis is white. Inside a tank at night time, white would be the best color for inside a hull..to help seem in the low light conditions.

I apologize for being a bit blunt in my answer, it is really out of character for me.

No harm, no foul. I am glad you reminded me.
It looks like I will implement artistic license, as far as the seat belts go. Thinking canvas.

OD or Khaki canvas is correct. For the fire extinguisher, go red with black hardware and conical nozzle.
Sometimes, crews didn't leave the seat belts attached to the seat backs. I recall one M4A3 crew who used the seat belt to strap down spare jerry cans on one of the rear spare track holders.

Thanks Roy. I may use that idea, about the spare jerry can. I have a couple of etch belts left over.

I've encountered a problem. I want to show off the engine. However, the engine access hatch is bare and ugly on the down side. So far, my only hope is the flip the panel over; shave off the bolts, fill the locator holes and hope for the best. Does anyone else have a solution?
