Would this be standard panzer grey, or perhaps green? I am building a small base vignette of a similar mounting.

I think it would depend on what theater of war it is set in? Africa, Barbarossa...Normandy.

I think the gun mount ist panzer grey with black hand wheels. But the gun barrel is deinitely a lighter color.
Considering the angle of incoming light, the front wall of the indicator box on the guns side and the angled front side of the box (counter weight?) on the ground are the same dark color (panzer grey).
Maybe the gun is dark yellow, because later changed? Maybe green to the end of the war, but imho the boy isn't wearing late war clothes...
Or a late war soldier is wearing old working clothes! Who knows...
I would use panzer grey and dark yellow.
Michael

There is no indication whatsoever that the barrel is dark yellow. If you have experience looking at b/w photos, you'll know that light and shadows can show many things.
German artillery was either dark grey or dark yellow. This Flak 37 is completely dark grey. It's in a fixed bunker -- probably deep within the German heartland.
The soldat is wearing normal duty denim fatigues -- for exercises or maintenance.
