This is the old DML Dragon kit. It was originally built about 10 years ago and has been a shelf queen until recently. It has frui metal tracks, aber metal barrel and aber photo etch. Please feel free to comment.

This looks pretty nice. The steel textureing is awesome. But there is one thing bothering me a little bit.. you followed the Dragon instructions i guess? that little plastic piece on the turret front right above the mantlet should be turned around.
It has to sit flush with the turret roof just to create a little edge above the mantlet. See here:

You know that colour plate's scheme is fiction, right? The SS 503 Tiger Bs were in the standard factory ambush scheme. Up to you whether to change it of course.

Quick update. I did some highlight detail painting (av vallejo), fading with oils (Winton Newton) and a pin wash (Mig Ammo).

This color plate made me very suspcious of anything the artist/authour does. The price on his stuff is not cheap and I don't like the fact that he did not label it a speculative

This week's update. Fading, washes and streaking completed. Still need to finish some more detail painting and adding the metal tracks. Also, finally figured out the best way to photograph the king: 3 lights with the camera set on incandescent. Thanks for looking and commenting.
