Really nice vendor and produce. May I suggest maybe a folded newspaper by his feet and maybe a bottle pf water or other personal items for when there is no foot traffic around him ?

Thank you Jerry for the suggestions. I still have to work on little details like your suggestions and trash and so on to add realism. I was thinking a pot of coffee/tea; but maybe that will go better with the carpet vendor.

Added the awning and placed the vehicle to see what it looks like. Sorry for the bad lighting.

Playing with figure distribution:
I am still missing the live stock vendor stand in the foreground to the right.

Thinking of opening the right front door of vehicle and just leaving the soldier in the fore left corner.

Thank you Dave. Added some pigments to the base to "blend" everything together:

Getting nice and crowded and busy looking, just like a real shook. Love the guy throwing a rock at the dog. This is how they view dogs over there. Nice lookin garbage. Pay attention to the figure placement though, because if you look at your people from above they are all very evenly spaced and this does not happen in real life ! I have this problem as well, most people do.

Thanks for the observation. I noticed that too. Will move a couple of figures to get a more random look.

Yep !! Well done. I noticed it too late on my "Retired" vignette and so the animals are all pretty even when viewed from above.

Thanks Jerry.
If anyone wants to see the Spanish Lince in action I really recommend the movie " Rescue under fire". It is a Spanish movie with the original title "Zona Hostil", based on true events in Afghanistan. It is quite well made. more info on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5456104/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Maybe a little more trash, and I want to add some detail to the interior of the building. Looking for reference material for the interior of an afghan home.
