Marcos
Really nice job painting all the different bits: people, animals, bldgs etc. You have a nice touch w/ that, bravo!
Saludos

Wow this is excellent Marcos, thanks for posting the close-up shots. Tremendous effort in bringing out all the lil' details. Everything looks great

Thank you Jerry.
I added a couple of details to the interior, and I think I am done.
I am thinking of calling this dio "Hearts and minds". When I hava a chance I will take some final pictures with natural light and a White background. Thank you guys for following.

a very nice diorama, really !
why not add some insurgents preparing to ambush the spanish team from the rooms in the back ? it would add some drama to your excellent dio !

Thank you Tim and Franck. I don't think I will go with the idea of the insurgents. Most of the dioramas I have made convey a dramatic violent military scene. With this one I wanted, yes, a military scene, but on a peceful setting. And I think it worked. But you are the final judges.

Marcos,
A lot of what we did was engaging with the people, passing out candy, soccer balls, etc. My favorite pictures are of the guys from my platoon playing soccer with the locals, and them trying to learn American football (it was pretty funny to watch, turned into a weird kind of soccer/rugby combination). Leave the bad guys out of this one, give 'em a day off. This one is great as is!

Thank you John. I think I will give them the day off. In this piece I wanted to show a little of everyday life that is still maintained during a conflict. With women and children going about their lives. Breaking away from the greens, browns and tans making a colorful scene.

Great diorama, a lot of detail-loaded little scenes telling a story of - as You said - peaceful moments in a wartime. Very well done!
But I'd add some details to the rooms at the back side of this dio. Only the 'workshop' looks finished for me. All the rest - too clean, too few small bits and pieces of... everything;) But if You decide to leave it as it is - it's still a great work.

Tanks Kuba. I haven´t found much references as to the interior of an afghan "urban" home. But let me think of what I can come up with, because I agree that the "rooms" look a bit empty.
