I've never heard of this before, maby it's what they call a paper panzer?

I got mine on Friday and must say it is some kind of great kit. All looks normal till you get to stage 17 and all hell breaks loose. RMF has tried to make it understandable but man o man it looks quite delicate. the pages in color may help . If you are at all into Abrams tanks, this kit is a must have. It will be sold out in no time and to top it off the price is really fantastic . Looking forward to some great PE sets in the near future , the kit is crying out for it

Here is the Track that comes with the kit, It's link and length.
If you want the individual workable track like the ones in their M1A1/A2 kit it's available separately.
There are some push pin marks, but they look to be raised and should trim off easily.
There's what I think is some nice anti-slip texture molded on the upper hull.
I don't knoy how accurate this kit is, this build will be mostly out of the box.
Now to start the build.

No, it is not a Paper Panzer at all. It is one of the newer vehicles that entered service a few years ago. It is used by Engineers to breech obstacles and mine fields.

Ok now to actually assemble something.
I'm starting with the actual step #1 for a change instead of hopping all over the place.
The front of the Turret with the ERA blocks.
If your not using the ERA blocks you should trim off the mounting tabs as shown.

I have some of the front of the turret finished, you will have to be very careful with these assemblies as there are a lot of tiny parts and some rivet l bolt heads ? that need to be removed to get the assemblies to fit.
The mount for the remote camera should be flush with the turret top.
The Mg. is fairly nice just the cooling holes need to be drilled out.

You will need to drill out the 2 holes between the cameras or the cable cover that goes there will not fit right.
I'm going to use the Modern U.S. Aerial mounts from RB Models, they look a lot nicer than the kit parts.

The Left side is assembled the Right side shows the parts.
You need to be very careful here as the instructions have the numbers all screwed up.
This shows the layout and which side the parts go.
(NOTE) there are Left and Right side Assemblies .
I'm finished for today.

These 3 Pics show Step 5 finished.
Use caution when installing the end panels in the large box, they will fit either way.
That's all for now.

I have some more assembled and painted.
I think it's easier to paint it now rather than after it is all together.
I'm finished for today.

Just one think to say to you. Thanks You. Your showing what some guys that are building kits need. When some of us have shaky hands and sometimes don't catch everything. Thank you. Some instruction sheets are not that great and folks that are doing your build like this is Great. Keep it coming.

The Bins are painted & Decaled , The Decals are very thin and tricky to handle so be careful there as you don't get any extra.
Also they don't fit good to their mounts.
I solved that by removing the mount as shown.
And gluing it to the bottom of the bin as shown.

That's a lot better fit.
The tops can be posed open or closed, be careful of the hinges for the top as they are very delicate .
There are two different pairs of struts for raising the tops.
