After finishing my little fallschirmjager vignette I decided to excercise my diorama building skills on a dio with an old Horch and some grenadiere.

But as all these guys were looking in the same direction I thought at least one of them had to look the other way.

So there I was, suddenly making a small conversion

Today, I added some straps on the gas mask canister ...


and made a helmet chin strap from masking tape...


as the squad commander was going to make his appearance for inspection:
