Due next month, and costing less than $44; for those interested.

Begs the question, which '113 variant next...

Wow, nice! But more like USD 57 if include shipping. Thanks for the heads up.

Haven't kept up but has the plastic been sorted out, is it a new mold or the Academy plastic w/ AFV Club label for the most part?

Been waiting a long time for this one! Hopefully the sales are good and they don't stop at just this, and go to the A2, and dare I dream maybe an M577, an M901, an M1064, a Fitter etc.

Dragon has made a nice living out of a base kit then add a sprue of this or that to make another variant. Maybe AFV will do the same. A M577 with an interior would be a nice follow up !

Here are some sprue shots: http://mmzone.co.kr/mms_tool/mt_view.php?mms_db_name=mmz_free&mms_cat=[%EB%AA%A8%ED%98%95]&no=361405.

Looks like not as many extras like old Academy M113 kits but the molding looks more crisp.

The ramp parts are on sprues, so apparently only the test shot build was incomplete.

Does anyone know why the release date of this kit keeps on getting pushed back? Originally set for late May; changed to June; changed to early July; changed to late July; now I see Aug. 4 on hobbyeasy. What the heck?
It's the usual flakiness of AFV Club?

I'm assuming they are having production issues. AFV Club posted a built production version a few days ago on Facebook, assuming it's now in production

If Luckymodel is taking money for pre-orders, then it should be soon.

As per some facebook posts that I have seen, shipments have already left from Taiwan in the last few days and should be reaching distributors this week or early next week

You can have it for 63.99 plus about 9.95 shipping from the US, which is just a couple of days. And shipping should stay the same if you order another kit or two with it.

There isn't a large amount of flash on any one piece, but most of my smaller, thinner parts needed sanding.

Same here. I see a few small flashes here and there. The clean-up around the gun accessories will be a bit difficult. Here are the photos I took of my kit parts:
