BTW guys. I think someone,if not me, suggested using Tinypic.
Tinypic is Photobucket, so changes might be coming down the pike.

I went back and re-uploaded all my pix to Google+ and replaced them over @ SMA ,
Used up all the holiday weekend bench-time ,, but it's done .
I should have switched over to Google a long time ago ,
way faster - no friggin adds !! No BS

Don't see any limit ...
PB said I was using 1/2 GB of the free 2 GB
That really doesn't sound like I'm a 400/year customer .
but what do I know ?

Strangely enough none of my Google+ images or Google Photos have a .jpg extension. Oh well, no worries.

WHAT ?
they have url --- the http line
right click and " copy image address "
drop that into [img] in text
You can do that with any image on the net -- though some are coded to stop linking .
Some won't show if you crop them ( images off the net ) -- to prevent removing ownership marks .

Photobucket has gone greedy and wants $400/yr to use they're links for 3rd party use, so the can go to hell!
I just deleted my account and will revert back to Fotki. I pay way less and usually don't have too many problems posting pics.
If they had been reasonable I wouldn't have any problem paying for their service, but not blackmail prices.
At any rate, here's a test, see how this goes:

Interesting .
I never thought to look further into it .
Along with a whole lot of other people I still have pix linking on older PB accounts -
but I expect those to be hit eventually ... maybe the backlash will stop the BS ... I'm not counting on it .
Fortunately I have a tiny online footprint , so I'm not screwed like so many others .

You will all be happy to hear that editing posts is now possible no matter how old or whether or not they are blog-type posts.
I am not sure we will keep this policy in effect long term, but for the time being you can all edit posts and replace pictures or hosting with new options.
I will be looking at what we can do down the road to offer easier photos options for users making posts in the forum. Something new and different needs to happen to keep forums relevant and that has been on my mind a lot more lately.
Thanks for your patience in this matter.
Cheers,
Jim

Just a copy and paste to img needs to be found.
