While I waited for my Marder 1 A5 to arrive, I decided to build a couple of models.

Hi!
Really nice paintjob on both vehicles! Unfortunately you mixed the German Army decals with the Leopard 2A6 features of the Netherlands Versions of Leopard 2A6 (Leopard 2A6NL). Actually you used the NL smoke dischargers instead of the German version and you put on the wedges at the turret rear which which are a NL feature. However you used the German MG3 on the loader´s cupola which is a German feature. Maybe you can correct these details unless you are not satisfied with the described situation.

Guess I'll have to correct that. The smoke dischargers part I understood. What I didn't get was the thing about the wedges. You mean the baskets in the back of the turret?

The wheel chocks on the back of the turret. Dutch only - not German.

Both models look great! I was wondering how you did the the camo on the Panzerhaubitze 2000? Did you mask? I'm currently painting one myself

Thanks!!! The base colour is by Vallejo, Model Air 71.244 Sand Beige (RAL1039). The green is from an argentian brand named Sicko, color SK156.

Very nice work on both Revell kits. The Pzh is looking great.
I have a question regarding the German Leo 2A5 and 2A6 variants.
The mounting frames for the chocks are installed on the vehicles, but I cannot find a photo showing the chocks themselves. since Revell includes them in the instructions, why were they not installed on their mounting frames?

German Leopard 2 don`t have wheel chocks. They rather have Festlegewinkel. That`s L-shape devices that secure the tank from falling sideways of a flatcar. Usually, the Festlegewinkel will only be carried when the tank is moving by train.

So I guess that removing the molded on Festlegewinkel and leaving the mounting frames only is the safest way to go?
