Started this kit in the spring of 2013 and the end is finally in sight. It has been a while since my last post (too much work) but wanted to send in this update as I hope to get this done this week! The color came out darker than expected but some reference photos show vehicles darker than others - honestly I just want this kit done

Ok so this is now a wrap, after four years of on again and off again work. These pics don't have the tow cables and co-ax .50cal which are still drying from final weathering. Thanks for all the feedback - I wish I had done a blog on this build but maybe on the next project!

PS- Complete accident that the darker areas actually came through very well to represent a wet surface in the process of drying - I wish I could say I planned that but once in a while the modeling karma is good!!!

It is a combination of Tamiya German Gray and the AK Interactive Modern IDF color. They mixed together very well actually, but yeah it turned out dark! Luckily the weathering process made up for it!

Thanks if you happen to get the name and brand I would appreciate it. I won't be re-doing the Merk but for my next project I can try that color. Thanks.
