Here are some of my latest update shots of this midget tank. Question..what color would I paint the muffler guard? thats the last piece before I flat coat and weather. Comments?

paint it the samw color as the tank then drybrush silver and rust over it where the paint has burnt off due to the heat.

John, I agree with Cliff's suggestion with the muffler guard.
So what's left, wash, and dry brushing? Ohh, and the little dude.
Can we get a front and rear view?

Wow. Very nice. This mono-tone scheme looks really good. I like the markings too. Now I want to build my Type 94 kit !

I would paint the muffler guard the same color as the Tank. Reason being its a Guard and wouldnt be phyiscally touching the hot muffer, thus not tranfering the heat from it which would damage the paint etc. Air makes a pretty good insulator against heat and cold

first time ive seen one in that scheme, the last post speaks a lot of sense, if the parts isntr actually touching the hot exhaust....
