I believe he did make the diorama. If you go to page one it shows him building up the figures. His name is Sebastian Woś.

They are very good but personally don't look like real hessian sack based sandbags to me.

I believe Sebastian has taken a sabbatical from the hobby for a spell. He's one of my favorite artists and a really cool guy.

Those are really good bags for sure and the whole feel is very good with the red dirt,etc.
