180 bucks for a 1/35 scale trailer is quite hefty! A generator trailer would be cool, too.

I guess so, knowing you can order the unbuilt kit for about 25 €...

TP Model has also released the generator trailer :

Frenchy, where did you see a listing for 25 euro? I have only been able to find it listed with SKP themselves. Their list price is about 34 euro.

I was talking about the TP Model kit (available from Modelimex for 25 €...) not the new SKP one.

Can anyone say what the difference is between an M1101 and an M1102? Whenever I look for photos of the M1101 photos of both come up. Are they both towed by the HMMWV?

From Olive-Drab.com :

"The Light Tactical Trailer for general cargo is designated by two model numbers, the M1101 and M1102, depending on its loading by weight. That is, there is no physical difference between the M1101 and the M1102 models, other than the dataplate. The two model numbers are used to regulate the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), based solely on the vehicle towing the trailer.
For example, when the GVW does not exceed 3,400 pounds (1542 kg) the M1101 cargo trailer can be towed by a HMMWV M998/M1038 series prime mover. Both the M1101 and the M1102 trailer models can be towed by a HMMWV M1097/M1114 series in accordance with the identification plate
."

Maximum Payload Capacity :

M1101: 1940 lb (880 kg)
M1102: 2740 lb (1243 kg)

Thanks for the quick reply Frency. I was trying to do some research on it yesterday from work but they change our firewall settings on the weekends to be more restrictive.

I looked at the kit generator trailer and thought to myself "that looks horribly wrong compared to the picture of the real trailer". Lol

As much as I would like to have it, there is no way I'm spending money on something that bad.
