I am sure some of you may have use epoxy resin to construct canvas bag and canvas and other accessories.
I use tissue paper before, and I am thinking using air clay to make canvas bag which is cheaper than epoxy resin. is there any advantegae and disadvantage?

Hi Richard,
In my opinion, air dry clays are too coarse for this type of work. Epoxy putties are much finer so you´ll be able to sculpt more delicate details. Furthermore, they don´t tear apart so easily when rolled down into thin sheets.
But you can always give it a try. I´d only suggest to test it first on some large and not very detailed item.
All in all , I think it boils down to the amount of detail you want for the finished piece of equipment and the ease of work involved (or lack thereof).
Best regards,
César
