Hi Guys-
Just in case any of you thought that I wasn't completely nuts.... hehe, this should erase all doubts.. lol
This is the DKW bike that comes in the Tamiya King Tiger Ardennes kit. Charlie (Tuna) sent me the Aber etch for it.... I don't know if I'll ever be able to forgive him for that :-) Geez....
Anyway here are a few in progress pictures....
This is going to go in my Market Garden dio... so this is how the scene will look, tenatively...
Any and all comments and suggestions are welcome - lemme know what you think :-)
Later-
Jeff

Hi ZC :-)
The figure on the bike is the guy that came in the Tamiya KT kit... I just swapped his head with a Warriors resin one.
I guess this took about a week to do... I picked at it a little every night... lol
Thanks for the comments :-)

very nice jr! You must have nibble fingers and a steady hand to do that PE especially the spokes in the wheel. I cannot quite make it out but does the rear wheel have PE spokes too? I look forward to seeing this dio progress.

Lord Harley (hehe)
Very impressive Jeff! Your pe work is outstanding (as usual). The cable work around the bars is well done also. This "one lunger" is pretty cool.
Is painting going to be tricky for you on this one as its fully assembled, i.e. the tires/wheels, carry bags, and chassis etc? Keep us posted.

Thanks for the comments guys :-)
Steve - to be honest... I really havn't though much about how I'm gonna paint this thing... lol Thanks alot man.... geeez :-) Now I gotta figure that out....... lol
This was a fun little kit to do - very small, and of course the Aber instructions are... ummmm well, they look like somebody drew them on an envelope with a crayon. Other than that ... :-)
I still have to add a spring for under the passenger seat, and some other bits to go - but I should have it painted this week.
Thanks again guys :-)
