Well I figured what a better way to jump right into the forum than to put my self in front of the firing squad right away! This is the Marder III that I have been working on for about a week now. It is OOB other than a Jordi barrel. This is only the second time i have tried doing german camo since I have not been building armor models for very long. I also tried for the first time to get a chipped paint look useing salt. It looks better first hand than it does in the pictures. I just like getting all the coments I can during a build so here's the pics.
Thanks again for any comments.

Looking great so far Chris, how exactly did you do the chipped paint work with the salt?

Thanks. Ok, the run down of the salt was this. I put down some water where I wanted the salt to go over the base color. Then I put the salt ,regular ole table salt,in the water whre i wanted the paint to look chipped. After the water dried I removed any excess salt . The salt will stick pretty good once the water dries. Then just spray the next coat over the salt, it will stay put as you spray. I started to remove the salt while that coat was still a bit tacky and it gave the paint a bit of a peeled look. Just through and remove all the salt and it's done. Just be sure to put some paper down to catch the salt, it does make quite a mess.
