started this the other day. OOB building will! Try b&w technique
Progress. So far so good. Side applique armour needs to be adjusted so have taken it off.... Enjoying the build but the suspension has me a tad worried....

So far so good. No fit issues, instructions clear....
Tape was to hold the lower front while the glue dried

It's a Tasca/Asuka kit in an Eduard box.

Good work so far! One thing to note is that you should sand/scrape away that fine seam that is on the left turret wall that surrounds the pistol port. That's a Tasca manufacturing remnant -- not a seam line that existed on the real turret.

The Eduard Sherman M4A1 is an excellent kit! As mentioned, it's a reboxing of the Asuka kit but with new decals. "Goldie" came ashore on Omaha Beach on June 9th 1944 and took part in a lot of the early fighting in Normandy. Imnot sure how long this particular tank lasted in Normandy but the hedgerow cutter is only accurate for Shermans from July onwards as they hadn't been invented early on in the Normandy campaign.
