Both RAAC and Shot Centurions have the same front hull parts.
If you glued part C24 on first, like I did, and the hull sides were not spread out properly, parts C34 and C37 will not fit. I had to pop C24 off and use C37 to hold the hull sides in the proper place. After I had sanded C34 down to fit of course. I also had C37 bow up due to the squeeze effect and I ended up adding a thick brace underneath.
I suspect you got caught by the same hull squeeze. My other Centurion kit, the 1967 Shot was ok. It's good to know I'm not the only victim out there.
yeah, that's possible, except I went from the rear forward. seeing as your Sho't was ok, I'll use mine, when it gets here, to build up a Brit Mk5, leaving off certain parts of course
I had a look at the hull again. I have the rear plate on and it has a slight bend across the top from the hull sides squeezing in. I started it with the idea of doing a meteor powered, upgraded tank, in 1973 and got side tracked. So the hull had the problem along its length. I am fortunate that I will be able to salvage my project. Good luck!
I found a nifty feature on the forums called HIDE USER.
I was going to try it on myself and go stealth, but it only works on other users.

thx. luck..., gonna take more than that. freezing wouldn't release the suspension so those aren't salvageable. guess I glued them on too well. so, the only things that are are still on the sprues, unless I can figure on a way to make the turret fit the ring there's no continuing.
this must be one of those extremely very rare kits

Have you compared the measurements on your kit to those I provided?

well, both rear sidewalls are 2mm, the inside width is 55mm, overall width 59mm so it seem some measurements are off a bit, which is more enuff. gonna write this one off, unfortunately

got the replacement today and the parts in question from the Sho't kal, which DIDN'T fit the raac, DID fit the new one. not sure what to do with the old. I did manage the get the turret to fit, but one tab broke off allowing it to fit, but the turret'll have to be glued on. might build it up as a Sho't. the input's been appreciated
