Good looking T34, a nice clean paint job -- and solid construction.
Nice touch with the unditching beam. As you complete your model, you might consider adding some rope or strapping to hold the beam onto the tank.
Do you have any more pics you can show of this? If so, we'd love to see them.
Keep us posted as you complete this one :-)

Decided to update with the Gum Ka photo etch:
Engine screen:
The rest is mostly straps and handles, that could be made fro foil.

Its a nice and easy fret, i bought it because of the enginescreen and the panels below the screen.
You can find it here at HLJ
Im not a hardcore aftermarket buyer, but i find the enginescreen a must compared with the
kits offering.
The figures is Tamiya Russian tankers at rest - they are kinda ok, not up to some companys resin standard, but the price says it all ... for me that is...
No weathering or drybrushing done yet - that´ll come..

MrMox, it looks good. I hope my Dragon T-34/85 looks as good as yours. I was lucky enough to win one last night in my IPMS raffle (UTZ Mod. 1944).
How is the gun tube on that kit? Is it one piece or does it have to be glued in half?

excellent model mate,
one suggestion, id try to tone down the rust on the tracks. it appears to be a bit bright. might just be the picture though.
maybe a light overspray of earth?
cheers

Top shelf! Excellent work.Love the weathering, this looks used but not llike it was just drug out of the mud bog down at Gomer's lower 40. The closest thing to weak, IMHO, is the tracks look a bit too rusty to have been in use.

Really nice build....However , the only comments I could make would be A) The tracks, as several have commented already I won't repeat, but rather the spare tracks on the front glacis really look as if they could be blended in a bit, at the moment they really stand out. B) The decals: Now I have seen pics of Sov. armor with all sorts of markings, propoganda, hand painted, no markings at all and in the case of this T34, very disciplined unit-markings... However, I would tend to (again) blend them in a bit, they simply look too pristine, no silvering that I can see, just too clean. Apart from that...nothing,I like it a lot....Jim

Thanks for your replys, i´ll try to tone down the tracks with a light yellow/sand wash since i don´t own a airbrush....
The tracklinks on the front is not that shiny i reality, i think its the light that makes them shine a little.
The decals has allready recieved a "filter" and 2-3 times wash, again i think its the light that makes them a bit shiny - maybe another dull coat will do the trick.
Now - of to the crew and base .... when i get tired of playing Battlefield Vietnam ... :-)

Very nice work on your T-34/85. Your 2nd group of pic with the weathering really shows off the detail of this kit. Your choice to use the PE engine grill was a very good one. I dont think your tracks look that bad, but I would dry-brush some steel onto them to show where they contact the ground. My only thing would be to tone down those yellow numbers some, maybe with some paint chipping to show a worn look to them. Other then that, you have done a fantastic job !! :-)
Looking forward to seeing your figure(s) and any groundwork you plan on doing.
Keep up the good work !
Cheers !
