A bit of an obvious question, but...what color sweatshirts do Special Forces normally wear out on cold weather Operations? There are now a few resin figures that have SOFs in sweatshirts.

I take it that SOFs wear subtle Earth tones such as dark green, brown, and perhaps black, but do they wear gray, tan, beige, two-tone colors, green, or burgundy? Do they dirty up the sweatshirt with mud to blend into the surroundings?

I seriously doubt that they wear blue, red, orange, yellow, and any neon or pastel colors that attract attention.

Are the sweatshirts GI issue or civilian bought?

Thanks in advance.

There's not a standard issue "tactical" sweatshirt that I know of. There're lots of aftermarket ones.

There's a coyote brown fleece jacket that's worn in the winter in garrison but that doesn't look like whats portrayed in the picture.

It'd be fun to put some printing on it, like "Molon Labe" or something. Or hell, put a North Face logo on it, ha ha.

Google : tactical softshell jacket.

That should give some ideas of colours etc.
