Thanks guys , still a ways to go, base and that M 332 trailer, which I am waiting on from Germany, might add the M-548 on there also, plenty of rounds made up.Tried a little different paint scheme from a pic of one in Nam that I have ,totally close.Even has barrel rifling on it.
Chris the tracks are a suggestion from Gino, Spade Ace from Hobby Easy, got the first set took awhile as out of stock the second set for the M-107 5 to 6 days in total. Also got two sets for the M-113's from them both quick. So good to go there.
Plenty more done up then these.
More coming, soon.
Cheers
Jeff

One quick correction that I missed earlier. The rotating band (copper band around the base) on the 8" rounds comes with an OD green cover on them when they are stored/shipped on the pallets. The cover is only removed when they are prepared for firing, like the ones you have on the left with fuzes.
On the pallets, they look like these.
Fuzed and ready to fire, with rotating band cover removed, they look like this.

Thanks Gino I can do that with a brush, just on a few at the front and keep the others at the back or just spray them, will see.Son of a guns.
Get on that in the AM, might just spray them.
Really wild how they pick them up to put in the M 548, through all the lifting eyes.
Cheers

Alcad II Chrome is what you want, a layer of Black gloss enamel, and paint a few light coats of Chrome , best I have seen.
But make sure smooth as will show all marks, I replaced those parts with plastic tube , as they were to small anyway, much better fit and nice and smooth.
Now on to Gino's repaint, dang Gino why did you not say something before.
I know never posted it is why.

Things are looking good, Jeff.
Seeing this makes me want to build some artillery pieces.
Cheers,
James
