Thanks for the positive words!

As you can see by the date on this, it's been a while since I did any dio work. But, I'm getting in the mood again. Regarding these big dios - they are fun to build, eat all sorts of time, are challenging and fun, and, with some luck, can result in a nice build. They are also simply big, and take up a lot of space. I've kept building, but have been focused on cars. At this point, I'd like to finish a car or two, and get back to dios.

Now though, I'm the "proud owner" of, well, lots of built models - some, err, might even say "junk!" and need to get rid of some. They just take up too much room!

There's a photographer, Lori Nix, who builds and photos some outrageous dios - I mean they are something. I saw a video she did about them, and more importantly what she does with them when she's done - which is simply to tear them down and throw them away. She's a photographer, not a model builder per se (though if you see her work, she builds one heck of a model) and her goal is to get photos.

I realized I enjoy building these, but when they're done, that's it - they're done. I need to decide which to keep, dios and models, and which to toss. My place looks like the island of lost models! I also have a handful of old model rr engines etc that are collecting dust - what a mess! my work space, is a cluttered mess!

SO - I plan to tear some of the dios apart and toss them along with a few cars. Mind you, they are nice, but...see above - what a mess!

Once all of this is sorted, I'll finally finish the Bladerunner dio and start something new!

OK, I feel better! Maybe committing to cleaning house via this post, will be enough to get me off of my butt and get this moving!
