I use Luckymodel, their prices seem to always be the best. If I need something right away and they don't have it in stock, Sprue Brothers is where I check first after that.

I may still go to Spruebrothers for kits and some aftermarket, but for my paints,. Mr. Paint especially, I use www.hobbyworld-usa.com 2 days service in the US from the opposite coast, flat fee shipping of 6.80. Great service.

Whats everyone's favorite on line store ? I use sprue brothers and squadron alot but im getting disappointed

in them,

Can you tell us why you're disappointed in them? I've been disenchanted with Squadron for a while now, but not with Sprue Brothers, but I'm curious. I prefer my LHS over everybody, for several reasons-- my LHS owner keeps abreast of the Hobby industry, and tells me of the ups and downs of various manufacturers. He also makes buying trips to various distributors throughout the year. I can always count on him to make something right, or hold an order in advance. I'm disillusioned in general with on line ordering everywhere except Sprue Brothers which seems to have pretty good response and Customer service. So I'd like to know why you feel the way you do.

Ok, I understand, and agree. But I'd state that I've had this problem with almost everyone I've ordered from at some point for similar reasons. Delays in items reaching the shelves may not be confined to one retailer either. I've had real horror stories with a couple. My first was with HobbyLinc (USA) when I pre-paid and pre-ordered an item at a lower cost. Then when they started advertising the item as "in stock" I inquired why I hadn't received my item yet, and they told me that they had shipped all the items out to "pre-orders" and it was out of stock. I'd have to wait until thier second shipment, but I'd have to pay full price-- since the pre-order deal had expired! The second experience was with Weta Workshop, when I preordered the new WnW Sopwith Camel. Sprue Brothers had received and was selling the kit nearly two months before I received mine from Weta (it was six months from pre-order to receipt when I finally got mine from Weta). Then when it finally arrived, it was the wrong kit! (And the Weta Warehouse is only 27 miles from my home!) I ended up ordering the right kit from Sprue Brothers and it arrived in two days from 1500 miles away! So, I can only say nobody is perfect all the time. If I can make a suggestion though-- one of the biggest hobby Importers/distributors in the country is Stevens International in NJ (if not the largest). I check to see if they have an item in stock-- If they have it, chances are others have the item as well. They are a distributor to hobby shops throughout the country.

I have a few I go with.

BNA, or A-Modeler on ebay, is very good.

I try to avoid United States online stores as the shipping is unreasonable but these folks have stuff that is hard to find, tool wise. http://umm-usa.com/onlinestore/product_info.php?cPath=21_28&products_id=35

Scale Model Kits, https://www.scale-model-kits.com/, and their ebay store are very good.

This Belgian store is very good also. https://www.passion132.com/gb/

My LHS is my go to though after mark up and such, online is cheaper.

Shipping is ridiculously expensive here too. for that same reason I prefer US based

Stevens International lists 24 "Hobby Stores" in NJ they supply to. If you go to the Stevens I ternational website and look at the yellow banner, there is a "Hobby Shop" locator over on the far right. You can use it to find any shop they supply in the US. They may list a store close to you. They don't just supply to Plastic Model stores though-- they also supply other types of crafts and tools. Check them out. Stevens is located in NJ.

P.S. if you read the "about us" part, you'll see that Stevens International is located in Magnolia NJ, and thier operation covers an entire city block. My LHS owner visits them once a year. They supply Hobbytown USA as well. Check them out.
