Whats everyone's favorite on line store ? I use sprue brothers and squadron alot but im getting disappointed

Can you tell us why you're disappointed in them? I've been disenchanted with Squadron for a while now, but not with Sprue Brothers, but I'm curious. I prefer my LHS over everybody, for several reasons-- my LHS owner keeps abreast of the Hobby industry, and tells me of the ups and downs of various manufacturers. He also makes buying trips to various distributors throughout the year. I can always count on him to make something right, or hold an order in advance. I'm disillusioned in general with on line ordering everywhere except Sprue Brothers which seems to have pretty good response and Customer service. So I'd like to know why you feel the way you do.

I have a few I go with.

BNA, or A-Modeler on ebay, is very good.

I try to avoid United States online stores as the shipping is unreasonable but these folks have stuff that is hard to find, tool wise. http://umm-usa.com/onlinestore/product_info.php?cPath=21_28&products_id=35

Scale Model Kits, https://www.scale-model-kits.com/, and their ebay store are very good.

This Belgian store is very good also. https://www.passion132.com/gb/

My LHS is my go to though after mark up and such, online is cheaper.

Stevens International lists 24 "Hobby Stores" in NJ they supply to. If you go to the Stevens I ternational website and look at the yellow banner, there is a "Hobby Shop" locator over on the far right. You can use it to find any shop they supply in the US. They may list a store close to you. They don't just supply to Plastic Model stores though-- they also supply other types of crafts and tools. Check them out. Stevens is located in NJ.

P.S. if you read the "about us" part, you'll see that Stevens International is located in Magnolia NJ, and thier operation covers an entire city block. My LHS owner visits them once a year. They supply Hobbytown USA as well. Check them out.

I just checked Stevens for a LHS in NYcity, which is close. shows 2 , one looks like trains . Ill check out the other. a few in Long Island , but I dodnt know the area . Any reviews?

Hey Lou,theres a decent shop in Redbank,more expensive then online,but lots of kits and supplies.I think its Redbank Hobby,google it.

Thats the place,its about 45 min from me.The city of Redbank is pretty cool,I usually take my wife,we walk around a little,check out the shops,go to the park,and have dinner,and work in a stop at the hobby shop.Usually a nice afternoon.
