The week that my Mom turned 70, she bought a model for herself. Her first ever. She did all the work herself, with advice and supplies from myself and my brother. She had fun, and I think she did an awesome job.

The antenna does need to be replaced. It broke off just before I took the picture.



She thought the Sherman was too small. I agree, so I gave her a Tamiya 35252 King Tiger (Ardennes box) She's working on it now.

Love it! Now go get her a 1000 piece King Tiger with full interior to stand up to that Sherman.

i love the Toon Tank,with my son we build the Chinese MBT and the Tu-2,and for cristmas i buy the B-17 and the Tiger 2

Moms always surprise the kids! My mom never built a Model, but she enjoyed going to the show we me. What a nice memory to have. Lee, your Mom did a great modeling job on her First model. Cherish it, it is something to look at in the future.
