Dudes,
Here ya go, the M1A1 HA (tamiya new M1A2 kit) painted, I am sorry, I am a huge Marine fan, so whenever I can, I'd like to model marine stuff. It's real fun to do something once a while totally OOB, and the tamiya kit is a job to build

Dave from a construction and paint point of view it is up to your usual high standards. But to me the paint seems 'too bold'. By this I mean are you going to weather it to tone it down a bit? Also could I have a close up of the none slip surface you did so that I can see it with paint applied.
Thanks
Thanks

I agree with Brother Pouch on this one Lord Lens,--- solid as usual. I especially like the look of the 50 cal ammo belt feed coming out of the can--looks good.
Any possibility of seeing some pics taken in natural light? These pics are a bit dark and give the M1a bit of a glossy look under the lights.
The nose on pic of the barrel ---is the bore sight (or whatever the thing on the end of the tube is called) a little to the right of center, or is that the way its supposed to be?
Congrats on completing your build for the Abrams campaign.
Signed

Good job on the pattern of the paint every thing matches my refferences . I have to agree with WWH on the MRS ( muzzle refference sensor) looks to be a bit canted to the right . I do believe it should be vertical . Still need to droop the tow cables and add the APU condtit . Over all nice lookin pig you got there ( pig is tanker talk for tank )
EDIT : refference pic

Congratulations for finishing your build Dave. Nice camo job. Will you be doing a diorama of your work?

Aka Dave,
Finally, I see you build another US AFV! Actually, it looks awesome and the paint job is excellent. All you need to do is more weathering, that's all.

Nice work! I love the ammo belts. How did you do it? Drybrush? BTW, shouldn't be the CIP panels done in the same color as the tank?

Looking awesome Dave,
Good to see it has some shade of green on it and it is US, #:-)
You should be very pleased with your paint work as it is up to your normal high standard
