It looks like this kit will finally get to see the light of day. Seen at the AFV Club social media page are images of the built model together with some information on what to expect from the kit.

It has already been discussed at length here. No idea what makes it an "early type" as there was no early type. It is only different from their "later version" kit w/a new barrel, decals, and T142 tracks. Based on the decals and later T142 tracks, it is most likely a late model M60A2 from '79 or '80, almost the end of the M60A2 lifespan.

Gino, wouldn't an "early model" not have the modified lower rear hull for the CBSS pump?

Thanks Gino. I'm guessing they may have picked up the "early" and "late" designations from Tanks Encyclopedia (?)

No, apparently all operational tanks had CBSS. Read the other thread linked in my above post.

I wish this company would release a M-103 I think they would really knock it out of the park.
