You always do a great job with your welds Artyom, (as well as everything else) I need to practice more, any tips on how you get them so consistent in width? Do you mask around the welds while applying the putty?

Thank you! No secrets at all. I put a little amount of putty on place I need and them I form surface of the weld by modelling knife. I removed the excess with a knife. Then I form the weld again until the width will be normal to mu mind. I don't use masks. After all work there will be several scretches from the knife. I remove them with a sandpaper.
I have done a lot of welds and different types of them. All stages are the same.

Hi Artyom!
No Challenger pictures but very nice to see your welding techniques on other projects.
The second one looks like a M4A2, but the first, is that Japanese?
And did you post images of these earlier projects somewhere else so we can admire them? All very good work, nice to look at.

Artyom, you probably already know, but in case you are not aware of them, Spade Ace makes a set of Ka-Mi tracks.

Hello Artyom
Thank you for the link to your Ka-Mi; excellent work as always!
John is right about the Space Ace tracks for the Ka-Mi, there is no other firm who produces such tracks.
I hope that you will finish your M4A3 one day soon, or perhaps you are waiting for Masterclub to make tracks for them?
Rumour has it that MC will produce M4 tracks soon.

Hello Theo and John! Thank you for your notice about Spade Ace!
I know about them, but Ka-mi tracks were much more difficult that Spade offers. I suppose they have copied Dragon tracks.
As I know Masterclub won't produce this tracks.
Ka-mi track link has two different types of track at the same time. Every seventh track was forced. I am waiting for one modeller who will produced it in limited edition. He has 3D.
So this is another story
Best regards!

Fantastic build Artyom, I love the way you keep using lots of metal in the build, and some bloody nice fine detail and welds
Matt
Hello,Matt! I like to work with metall this is the first reason. The second one - I better work with metall than with plastic. I don't know why
