Dragon has added a "bonus" figure and ladder in the Tiki tiger kit. It purpotedly represents Walter Kruger but in fact they have cheaped out and simply included a Wehrmacht figure from the old "German Command Staff" set. (6213)
Note for David Byrden: to answer your question, the uniform is not accurate, contrary to what the poster told you "over there". As you can see, the Wehrmacht collar tabs are easy to see, as well as the eagle insignia being on the right breast, rather than left bicep. Also no cuffband is present.
For those wishing to scratchbuild the ladder, DML has kindly pointed out the ladder sides have been cut with "tabs" on either side to plonk into the tracks...quite clever. Safety first!!

Whaaaat! Yes there's a thread on here. I think it came out before Christmas. It's basically a reissue with added parts for "Tiki". This includes the decals with "timeline" options - different options in relation to when it was repainted. It also includes the specific parts like wide storage bin, altered cleaning rod set up, partial exhaust covers, unique mantlet etc. David Byrden has helped them out as usual, and the kit appears to be quite substantive. It also contains alternate not for use parts should you wish to model a different kittycat. David has kindly pointed out other options for non Tiki (not kontiki! ) tanks on his tigerIinfo page I believe.

Are we to conclude then that 812's running gear was left in RAL 8000?
Photos seem to indicate no yellow green or brown camo.
To me they look like the RAL 8000 wheels in B/W photos of sPzAbt's 501 and 504.

The wheels? After seeing all the photos, I concluded that Das Reich didn't believe in washing the mud off their wheels. Even during the award ceremony, it looks like mud on whitewash.

Ok, but what's under the whitewash?

I have the highest regard for Dragon's Tiger 1 line of kits...but adding a 'bonus' figure is a bit gimmicky if it is just a figure from a much older figure set.
A few years ago, Dragon released a superb Tiger 1 late reboxing but with a specially- produced Wittman figure posed to sit on the gun barrel replicating a famous pose that he had, as well as a large amount of extra PE parts such as preformed buckets, exhaust guards, turned brass 88mm shells and plenty more...now THAT was what I call a 'bonus' offering!
