Can you explain what you mean by this? Are they the wrong type or something?

Can you explain what you mean by this? Are they the wrong type or something?
There are 12 springs for each roadwheel - each spring is labelled as Part C6 on teh sprue and instructions. Each spring should have a cut out on the bottom to fit into a corresponding tab on each of the roadwheel arms. Two of the springs had the tab moulded onto them though - easy to fix (I just cut them off drilled a hole and made it the size it should be). This photo shows the issue:
