Thanks Kylie, much appreciated. Almost 1400 pictures so far and that’s just the warm-up.

Merkava Mk.3, Mk.4, APCs, HAPCs, arrillery pieces, softskins...all those are still ahead of us. I think it’s slowly but surely becoming the biggest online database of IDF vehicles photos...

you can see the instruction and parts here. one downside i noticed is that you cannot elevate or depress the gun. It's fixed horizontally. kinda mysterious since most of their offerings feature movable main gun.

The ball and chain is the same as in their Merkava 3 kit. Not great, but not bad either.

I hope this isn’t the case, it would be quite disappointing.

My 0.02, I am not bothered that the gun doesn't move. I am more concerned about the way it looks, if the gun moved then that would mean more articulations = more fit problems = much gnashing of teeth when something breaks or feeds the carpet monster.

Yeah I thought that too. It’s been done to a really nice level of detail. There are a few issues with the kit (the missing paint/decal guides, two of the suspension springs on mine were incorrect and I think the tracks are just going to be replaced with Fruils) but it’s actually a pretty good kit.

Yes it is but to be honest its not that bad IMHO:



It’s actually kind of a relief. I spent ages doing the anti slip on the IIID and and just wanted a fun build this time around. I wasn’t looking forward to powder coating my model for another 5 hours. It looks great so far, really looking forward to my kit.
