Seeing how have done the Panzer III, King Tiger, Tiger, may as well knock this out.
At $7.99 then 40% off what the heck.
Not sure if there is possible a simpler build out running around.

What other Meng kits did they have? Any non-cartoon kits?

That's pretty much it. Hobby Lobby tends to steer clear of the costlier kits.

Cartoon and eggs aren’t my bag but they have those 40% coupons that can shave off a lot of the other delights that hobby lobby sometimes has. Give me reasons to spend my modeling money and “POOF” it’s spent!

I like what this guy did with the Sherman:

I love these Meng kits, with my 7 year old son we have already done the TU-2 Bomber, Tiger II porsche turret, Chinese MBT and I have in my stash the B-17 ..... and then i avoid complaining from my wife because these kits pass as "father-son quality time" not as "other money spent unnecessarily in other kits" ....
I personally i prefer the "World War Toons" series because instead of stickers they have proper decals

Say, are the WOT kits fairly accurate, or are they just schlock?

Just finishing the Type-59, apparently an old Italeria kit.
It is an okay kit, there is a review on here that is really accurate. It has potential, but I am not willing, or skilled enough, to do all that is required. A lot of flash, sink holes and bad fit.

In the main they seem to be reboxing of old Italeri kits which can be very old.
If you rate accuracy as a high priority in your modelling hobby then these are not really the kits for you.
Sure they look like the subject but from an accuracy and detail perspective many have been superseded by other kits from other manufacturers.

I would classify theme as great kits to practice paint schemes on or try new ideas without bumming out or letting it become a shelf queen because you might be to afraid to ruin it.

I should probably add that this is at Michael's.

Kelly, did someone change the tag on that AT-ST becuase I've seen them in the upper $20's, lower $30's.
I've seen the Tamiya Gama Goat and the Easy Eight at my local Hobby Lobby, and of course all those COOL BANDAI Star Wars kits. As for the MENG kits, just the "EGG" kits is all I've seen.

That's a price tag switch if I ever saw one. I don't think it's even from the right department.

Most are $29.99 to $34.99 I think. most times when i come across them they are with a yellow tag when marked down. I think this was re shrink wrapped from a previous return? I have come across a few re shrinked ones. I am wondering if they are doing it in house or another warehouse. This store is also staring to use a different price label style than in the past. Also the displays for tools and paints are getting totally changed around.
I keep going in looking for another meng sherman. But I havent seen one since the last one I bought in months.
