Hey guys, as promised, here are some pics of my build. I'm no expert modeller and finding resource for the Tiran 4 interior is all but impossible!!
Note all the missing gear to the right of the driver. I know they did away with preheated oil and the like but surely there should be "something" here?
The Turret is a work of injection moulding art!! Still, no references, so guess work and license will come into play..
Hope you like it.
I have a few more little errors in the manual to post so keep posted for them..

Great work!
Thank you. I love all these compliments.. I'm waitng for someone to tell me I got a colour wrong so I can correct it.
Anyway, the kit errors are still coming out and are as follows:-
Sprue B. Part 21 is required as is part 32 on sprue C. Sprue Ba, part 3 is not required. The fenders on sprues D and S are all mixed up?? The instructions tell you to ditch parts 12, 45 and 49 off sprue D but you need them. Whereas the fenders on Sprue S numbers 29 and 45 are not needed for this kit. Part 3 is required off sprue Qa as is part 4 on sprue Gf. Sprue La call for parts 13 and 14 as N/R, well, you need em for your Tiran 4 build.
On sprue Ge parts 3 and 20 are not required.
Parts 23 to 29 are all required on sprue P even though Miniart says you don't need them, you also need to keep part 6 off sprue Na.
I would advise anyone building this kit to follow my lead here and remove the unwanted parts as listed here and ignore the parts call out in your kit.
I would also advise looking online at the Miniart website and browse their other T5X instruction sheets. Some part locations appear a little ambiguous, but other kits show the same part placement a little clearer. If all else fails they have a ton of cad images on their site also.
You will find that you will soon be able to discard empty sprues which will be a pleasure as there are no less than 90, yes ninety sprues plus PE in this fantastic kit!!!

Looking good. If you have the Mig publication Tiran in Lebanese Wars, there are a few pics of some Tiran 4's in IDF markings on page 24 that seem to fit exactly what this kit is supposed to represent on one of the schemes. There seems to be about 8 of them and at least one with an instructors chair. Those are probably the only Tiran 4's with the D10 cannon in IDF service from what I have found since the initial post.

AFAIK those belong to an IDF unit based in the Negev Desert exclusively used for training SLA tankers.

That is probably correct as the miniart chart states that at least one of the IDF schemes is a training tank.

Thanks Nic, I do have the book and am looking at it rightnow. Those tanks at the bottom of the page look like they are painted SLA blue, even though the book states they are Sinai grey? They certainly don't look like any of the Vallejo IDF colours I have??
Do the red jerry cans denote a training vehicle?
