OK,
I have the lower substructure together. I did run into a problem. I have a gap between the top and bottom sections of the sub/super structure due to an out of place rear fender. It is just off a hair, but enough to screw it all up.

All in all, so far, this is a very cool kit.

Looks good so far - I'll toss out the ever present question - To Sag or Not To Sag - that is the question. Was it a kit born decision not to sag the track - in that they were tight, or did you simply decide to not sag the tracks?

I actually just threw the tracks on. They are that tight. I will have to see about putting sag on them. I thought about getting some AM tracks, but i don't think i am ready to tackle those yet.
I am going to have to dig through my references. I know i have seen some pics of PZ IV running gear showing less sag.
I also seen someone here at the site had a picture reference for running thread around the road wheels to add sag to the track. Anyone remember seeing that?

Hi Petro..sure is coming along nicely...one thing I noticed on the first picture is you can see two sink marks on the back wall of the fighting compartment..just two swipes of putty should fix that up no problem ...Keep up the great work .

Hey Petro,
Looking good. You may want to consider drilling out the tow pintle, and adding the proper pin and retaining chain. Looking forward to more.

Nice clean work Petro. I have this kit myself and was thinking of starting it as my next project. Maybe your work will inspire me :-)

Send us more pics !

Cheers !

After you pointed it out, i did notice these . So, i swiped them with putty and hopefully they are hidden. Thanks.

I know Tiger model designs has a setup for this, but , being as i am already far in progress, i just drilled it out and will put in an old style J pin and maybe a small amount of chain. Unless any one has specific dimensions for the newer style pin so i can scratch build it out of sheet styrene.

Do you have the 3.7 cm FLAK or the quad 20mm version? This is the 3.7cm kit.
This is probably the newest Tamiya WWII kit i have built. I ma really impress, with just the lower hull itself. It has none of those motorization holes to fill. I am not sure what kits you have built recently, but i believe you will enjoy it.
