Greetings! Few months ago I have promiced to my friends to take part in their Group build devoted to the Great War. This is not my topic at all,but i have promiced.
This is the beginning. I build this kit with help of great master - Andrey Fonin.
For this kit I have Masterclub tracks,mg's from Aber, lot's of copper, plastic and brass. Chains are handmade. Everything is workable.
I will build this kit in parallel with my A30. So temps of building will be not very fast.

Nice start! The Masterclub tracks are great, but do yourself a favour and paint all the links BEFORE putting them together! Otherwise it is a real big pain to paint under the edges where they overlap, and it shows more than you'd think. (Learned that lesson the hard way...)

Thank you! Here it is.
Cabin is almost ready. Unfortunatelly Takom has poor connectivity of parts. It was a very big problem and have taken much time.
I need to add some more datails and use some putty. I saw some gaps only on photos.
All pistol ports have movable caps.

Artyom, the skill and amount of detail you add to your models is astounding. Sometimes I wonder why you buy a base kit to begin with!
If you have a good look at the real deal, you will see WW1 era tanks were not precise fit with gaps between the plates, etc. If it were not for the angle braces the panels were bolted on, the daylight would have seeped inside... which still does not excuse the gap in the angle plate you had to fill though.
At least the parts were not warped !

This is a good question. Sometimes I think I need some kind a starting kit
I have one mate who makes models by himself. And a very rare models like A7VU,Skeleton-tank or Holt gas-electirc tank.
If you want I may give a links.
I agree with you bolted panels are not perfect decision for tanks
But Takom has more problems with them than WW1 tanks. :-)

Sorry, a rather late reply to your latest project.
Interesting project and great work on the front parts, good choice to go for flat rivets, and the result looks excellent!
I asume that the barrel is an Aber one?
Good luck with the next phase of your project

Missed this the first time around. Amazingly detailed build, more like engineering than modelling.
Look forward to it.

Hello,Theo! Glad to see you! Unfortunatelly last few weeks I have a lack of time for modelling. While I am working with Mark.IV I have stopped all works with A30. I need some rest from it and a new flesh vision of futyre works. Mark IV is interesting bolts/rivets project.
I have decided that Aber will be perfect variant of MG's. When I have any choise I always choose Aber. Very good quality!

Greetings to all! I have found that Takom gives wrong location of the towing device from the inner side. Than I've tried to make another chain with fixator. Now I am working with inner part of the hull side.
