I know that the PSM M-48A-5 'Dozer conversion kit was made to fit the Dragon kit. Can anyone tell me whether it will work with the old Tamiya M-48 kit, or not? Preferably without major modification. Any help will be appreciated. Al

Generically speaking it should fit if the Tamiya and Dragon hulls are the same dimensions.
However, it would appear that the M8A3 dozer used on the M48A3 differed a bit around the piping and connections at the hydraulic reservoir compared to the M8A2 dozer used on the M48A2 and M48A5.
Take a read of my review of the dozer blade...in particular Part 7- Hydraulic Reservoir Assembly.
Since writing the review I was able to confirm that the PSM kit OOB can be used on M48A2s and M48A5s but the piping is different on the M8A3 blades used on the M48A3s. It is a minor modification that with good reference images you should be able to tackle...if the dozer blade fits the Tamiya kit.

Thanks for the reply, Jason. I read your review and found a few pages from the TM for the M8A3 blade on line. They contained a line drawing of the Dozer assembly. In it I can see what you are talking about concerning the armored cover running along the right fender. Shouldn't be too difficult to modify the kit parts, if that's the only difference. Thanks again. Al
