This time, M1114 with Interim Frag 5 armor. Reference shots of a dozen or so have, but it will be a combination of the two vehicles below. If I manage to make the Clear Gunner Protection Kit, I will stick to the pictures. On the other hand ... this rusting tower cover. I will use the Tomcat28 guard's cover for 100%.

IR is mounted on the front window frame. The other two IRs on one of the photos of the originals are on the bottom of the radiator. I mounted them on the IBIS bumper

Piotr,
I'm glad my "COMMUNICATION'S" tutorial for the DUKE has come in handy but it doesn't look like your SINCGARS and FBCB2 are cabled up right. Did you use the SINCGARS and FBCB2 slides I provided in the tutorial?
I still need to add the DVE and antenna's to the tutorial and it will be ready to publish here on the sight.

I've been wanting to build this kit for awhile now, you got me inspired to start up molding again, but I want to start with something small like this.
I have a question tho, why didn't you use any of the Voyager m1114 sets, if you could use Voyager what Voyager sets should I use to make a great M1114 build? I seen theres so many, is there a set that Voyager sells that all the PE sets are all in one big set. I checked out Ebay but I'm not sure if the Voyager sets there selling will give me all that I'll need. I was wondering if you know the PE Voyager set numbers I should get to do the Bronco kit justice.
Thanks in advance for any help, I appreciate any help in advance.
Happy modeling
William
PS,How did you paint, or did you use decal sheets of the camo on the figure's you built. Was it hard to put the decals on the figure's?

William, it depends on which M1114 you are building. Voyager PE35397 is for Bronco kit CB35080. It has the GPK turret replicated in brass and is comprehensive. Voyager PE35401 is for Bronco CB35092. It has the OGPK turret in brass and resin FRAG 5 doors. To both of them you may want to add Voyager PEA234 which is the seats in resin and a set of wheels which I'd get from DEF Model. In my opinion they are the best detailed wheels on the market and they make most combinations that have been used on the M1114. You also want to add a good set of radios from Mike Goldberg at his Shapeways store, Mike's MS Productions. His SINCGARS and intercom are the best, hands down. Not all of this is necessary to build an amazing M1114. You can look at any of Piotr's HMMWV builds and see that his use of aftermarket is strategic. He uses it where it is needed most. If you were to use every part in a Voyager set you'd go crazy! Sorry I hijacked your thread Piotr!

Eric

Epi- Of course, I was watching your topic. I do not treat my set 100% seriously because it will not be much visible. I have already used the Voyager set in M1151 and can not see anything. I highly appreciate your comments.
My M1151
And...
William- Eric answered your questions. You must decide which version you want to build. Of course, you can use a large number of accessories.
Eric- thank you for your reply and comment

Little progress - the interior is dusty and in my opinion completed. The whole is folded without glue for the needs of the photo. Rims for retouching.

All without glue, but the tower is almost finished. Model painted with glossy varnish.

Piotr, your modified GPK turret looks fantastic. You captured the look of the field mod perfectly. I am closely following this build.
