Well, if Meng wants to depict a Normandy vehicle, it would have to be first company of the 503rd Battalion, not the third, which still had Tiger I tanks. The third company went to Mailly Le Camp, east of Paris, to pick up their King Tigers in August, just before the Normandy front collapsed. They drove back through Paris, trying to rendezvous with the battalion, but were assigned to support a Luftwaffe field division north of Paris, and lost all their tanks. Two vehicles which had broken down at Mailly were recovered and rejoined the battalion at Paderborn later in the month.

More importantly, why a Caen commemorative edition? And without Zimmerit and an interior to follow as an option? Why not simply buy one of their (or Takom's) excellent earlier releases? Oh well....
