hey gang anyone know where or how to get more info on real models sets? I'm looking specifically for more info on what's in their M923/939 detail up set but all i can get from the website is the tiny thumb nail pics that are impossible to see exactly what's in the set...also do they have a U.S. distibutor or am I gonna have to sell my first born for the overseas postage? thanks

There is also an update set from Legend Productions.

I did see that but the legend set seems to be (at least where i've found it) almost double the price! Having already spent extra on an eduard set and some def wheels I'm trying to pinch some pennies at this point lol.

If I had to choose betweem Legend and Real models update set I would buy the Legend one (which I did).

Seek for a sellet in Asia or check to see if it is in stock in Luckymodel (do not backorder it, 2-3 weeks is not the correct time for them restocking items).

Since you have purchased all these aftermarket, the Legend set will really upgrade your model.

Just my 0.02$...

Go for the Legend set: less headaches and worth any extra penny.

Ok so the legends set is an option...the realmodels set though looks like it includes interior detail that the legend set doesn't...and i do wanna model it without the canvas so original question still stands...anyone ever use the real model set? it's set no.35101

Take a look on this old tread. Last pic should give you an idea what is in the update set. I think wheels are in a separate set.

I have not used this update set, I had just bought Real Model wheels and they had a very bad casting with holes everywhere !

I had replaced them with Tankworkshop wheels.

I've used the set. both the RM and Legends upgrades have their hits and misses with details, but ultimately the RM set is a better value. it has replacement tires(I think) and also includes of details such as air brake pots and front fender "liners" as well as seats for the cab. However the quality left something to be desired. Granted the owner was going through some health struggles at the time. hopefully that has improved. as for ordering, i ordered directly from RM. postage was reasonable. hope that helps in your decision making.
